YEAR: 2004
With a buzz ruputuring through the air, as there was teaming on the edge of reality as Nikos sat at his new desk. Sorting through files of people that were suppose to be coming in and ones that were still to be hunted. Wondering what the hell he was suppose to do, here he was at twenty-one married to his high school sweet heart and working for one of the most powerful corporations in the world, working as one of the top agents. Everything he could've dreamed of was at his finger tips, even with his special abilities which made him unique to the Company. For three years ago he went through the whole ordeal of being poked and proded as they tried to figure out what was going on and what his powers were. Shaking his head, Nikos got dragged out of his dream world into reality with a simple ring of the telephone. Picking it up, a slow smirk played across his lips, a new patient had arrived and it seemed as if this young woman was giving them quite a fight. Rifling through his files, he found the young womans name: Aurora Vincit. Briefly looking at the picture, he noted the womans facial features and long brown hair yet what intrigued him was her power, Seduction and Persuasion. Two deadly combos for striking young woman to have especially in this day in age.
In a fluid motion, Nikos was up on his feet grabbing his badge, the file, and the cup of coffee that sat warmly on his desk. He walked into the hallway as he prepared his mind for what kind of challenge was present. For in this cases, his ability was highly desired for he knew how to block certain powers and be able to read minds. Nodding his head at random passerbys, he stepped into the some what crowded elevator as his senses were crowded with the scent of heavy perfume. Closing his eyes, Nikos managed to turn his mind off to his surroundings and just concentrated at what was at stake. Gaining another person into the Company was huge especially with this woman's ability, it was something they could use and benefit deeply from. Feeling the elevator drop and slide down the wires smoothly, Nikos looked around only recognizing a few faces. He wondered how big this case was and how tough this woman was for he heard rumors yet nothing was for definate.
Slidding out of the elevator with a few people leaving the enclosed space at the same time as him. Yet they didn't go towards the holding cells, a smile crept upon his face as he opened his mind up and moved forward tugging on his leather coat. Now he was ready for his task, his blue icy blue eyes fell upon a group of people standing in suits, something didn't wear often for he saw no need just as long as his clothes looked clean cut. Letting his mind float into theres it was apparent there was about half a dozen people that tried to walk into the cell prior to him and all failed. For this patient managed to punch and scream every agent that walked through those doors. Smirking, he spoke to the older agents,
"Good evening, Agent Farris at your service." His voice was husky as he shook each of there hands letting his piercing blue eyes eye them directly, knowing full well they knew his powers but that wasn't going to bother him at this particular moment. The older gentleman gave him a run down of what he would have to deal with and what her powers were, which he already knew for he read the woman's file, nodding dilegently as he accepted his task at hand as they wished him luck. "None of that is needed, for luck is just a tool we use to work our brains up in a frenzy." Letting his hand rest on the door knob, he pushed it open, letting his tall frame impose into the room that was fully padded and seemed to shine in the flourescent light. Closing the door briskly, he let his blue eyes roam the room as they landed upon the young woman who looked like she was ready to fight, as he just stared at her waiting for her to make a move as his defense were up and all he did was sip his coffee with a smirk falling on his features.

``AURORA CELESTINE VINCIT
AND THAT'S JUST THE PRICE I PAYwhen i don't even know her nameSHE'S SLIPPING AWAY Gray clouds were always looming over the enmity of her being. Nothing was right with the world, for it was nothing more than a cascading dull bubble of depression that constantly kept her at bay from the rest of the world. By now she had gotten used to this horrible hell whole, the entirety of these padded cells—the constant fear of attack looming over her head—and not to mention that claustrophobia that dwelled deep inside the crevices of her being—minding her momentarily and sending her to roars of rage. The once extravagantly beautiful girl was now nothing more than a mere shadow of what she used to be—nothing more than a prisoner locked away in a prison far from everything she once loved—or tried to love.
There were so many thoughts she had once allowed herself to cling to—the mere hope that one day she would be free from his hell hole. That one day her knight and shining armor would break through that door and rescue her. It was such a stringy fantasy really—imagining her brother coming to rescue her—so much time had passed since she had seen him last—but then again, who did she have the pleasure of viewing anymore. All the fun, the excitement, the common necessity she needed was torn from her life—she was nothing more than a play-thing for these bastards, and every single second that has passed inside this hell hole was a reminder of how much she hated these people who dared to steal her life away from her.
Everything had faded, the ship had set sail a very long time ago—and like her parents before her, Aurora’s life was wasted away as well. She was nothing more than a volumous shadow lingering in the depths of the room. Hope was all but lost, yet—no matter how many times the guards came in—Aurora tried to attack each and everyone of them. She knew Cole wasn’t coming for her—she had lost that hope a long time ago—perhaps with the last bit of love she had for him—being in love with her own brother—what a horrible sin it was, perhaps now, she was repenting it. The seduction, the manipulation that she had put people through in her youth were all making themselves present one by one—and just maybe this was her sentence in life.
All the wrongs that she had committed—all the wrongs that she had knowingly committed was coming back and haunting her now. She was so far lost into this hell hole that there was no getting out. Maybe if she could see Cole one more time, offer an apology to him for being such a horrible bitch—he was the only thing she had left, and any sort of contact with him--- she could only dream of. If her thoughts weren’t on Cole—it was probably on the dead bodies of her parents. Restlessly they had tried to save her--- fight off the agents that came to take her away—but, in the end, they were murdered by them—right in front of Aurora—and Cole was no where to be found.
A part of her wanted to blame Cole for being such a careless bastard, but Aurora knew it had been her fault that she left. If she hadn’t seduced him into fucking the living daylights out of her—allowing all his most inner fantasies to come to life—and then of course tossing everything back at his face—maybe this would have never happened. Maybe they still would have been the once happy family that they were—and she would have had her normal life, the life she had been borne into. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she leaned her head against the side of the padded room, her eyes going over-bright as she looked at the door. There was something nudging her inside, telling her that a person would soon make his way inside—to interrogate her again—and as usual she was ready. It didn’t take much of her power anymore—it seemed as if being locked up had given her the chance to try and figure out her power even more--- but if it meant that she had to give up her power—to get out of this hellhole, she would do it without any hesitation—but that wasn’t an option—for they knew what she was capable of.
Gritting her teeth, she wiped the lingering tears from the side of her eyes, wishing everything would just fade away—she wanted out, Aurora couldn’t take this anymore. Choking back a sob—she wondered what it would be like to do everything over again—what it would be like to go back in time—and never become the person she was--- maybe if she were never borne—life for everyone around her would have been different. Perhaps she just would have gone back to apologize to one person who had always loved and cherished her—perhaps see where they could have gone. Sighing and pushing those wicked sinful thoughts from her head—she laid back against the four poster, counting down time in her head—and wishing she was free—wondering what it would be like to taste the fresh air once more.
It was minutes, maybe even hours—but within that time frame the sound of the door opening once more caught her ears, and alert and steady as she always was. Climbing off of her bed she stared into a pair of ice cold blue eyes and for some reason a low growl tore through her lips. This was another one of those fucking agents, sent to fucking toy with her—and like always—she would make them suffer. Her eyes connected with his own, and a slow mocking smile trailed along her lips--- “Well well—another one eh? This should be interesting.” A slow vibration rang along the crook of her spine, making the world around her tremble with coldness—her eyes were turning a dark bluish hue as she waited for the serene feeling of her power to take over—this man surely didn’t know what was going to hit him.

Standing in the room just watching her movements, trying to figure what the past agents did before him. For it seemed by her position against the wall and her attitude that she just prevailed that she managed to use her powers against the past agents but luckily for Nikos he would be able to block them, well as long as he kept his guard up. Setting down his coffee on the table next to the door, his icy blue eyes just watched her as he calmly toke off his jacket exposing a plain white t-shirt that hug snuggly against his body. Feeling the coolness of the room touching his arms, as the leather left his fingertips and gently glided to the coffee mug. Russling his fingers through his brown hair he turned slowly back towards Aurora while taking a sip of coffee as he toke control of the situation at hand.
With a small smile playing upon his lips, Nikos spoke slow and smootly, "Ms. Vincit we have seen plenty of people come through this doors sit in these cells, some are complitant and some are just down right stubborn. Now I could stand here telling what all the rest of the agents before have probably told you but there is no use for you're one of the stubborn ones. Yet maybe you don't realize that if you side with the Company, you will be able to see your loved ones." Letting his eyes met up with hers, he toke another sip of coffee as he leaned against the door all before continuing and pushing forward. "Sure, you have pondered all the details but just note, I have been in your shoes before and this is no walk in the park. But I am sure your abilities will be such great assets to this place that you would go far and perhaps become the next great agent."
The words came out smoothly without any regard, for here he was standing in front of a woman that knew what she wanted and how she could use it against others. Of course she probably heard the same speech being muttered out of everyone else mouth, so what would make it sink when he said it? Crossing his arms he studied her for a second, knowing full well how attractive she was but made no notion of letting her know. Taking another sip of coffee, Nikos stood there letting the steam flow off his coffee up against his face. As he wondered where Alyssa was at the moment, for if she knew the actual business of his job she would probably not talk to him when he came home at night. Now he just waited for Aurora to respond and figure out what to say next as he leaned against the door frame.

``AURORA CELESTINE VINCIT AND THAT'S JUST THE PRICE I PAYwhen i don't even know her nameSHE'S SLIPPING AWAYThe change in the air had startled so suddenly, it seemed as if one moment she was laying back against her bed reliving the horrible moments of this life—and suddenly there was another figure breaking into her cell—coming to interrogate her. There was a part of her that really didn’t want to fight anymore, she had been locked away for a year, never once tasting or breathing in the open air. How she longed to step foot outside, feel the fresh rain drops touch her face and hair—breath in the sweet smelling air after a rainstorm. Being locked up for such a long time had its effects—but no matter what they did to her, she knew that they would never truly let her go. Even if she chose to become an agent, what would happen then? They would just exploit her and use her for her powers—and Aurora would damn near die before she allowed anyone to use her, once in a lifetime was enough. Her eyes glaring at this intruding figure she raised her eyebrows at him, her lips curling into a sneer as she waited for some kind of inclination.
For the first time since she had realized the power she had over men, women--- or anyone else in general with an active sex drive—she realized just how far she could push and control people. The more that they were attracted to her the more she could take from them—and Aurora had the tendency to drain them until they had no will power inside of them anymore—until she was theirs to control and dominate. A slow smile crossed her lips as she studied him. Possibly the most handsomest guy they had sent in her cell—but pretty boys never pleased her. Aurora had always loved the bad boys—but the last time she had even seen a boy that was let alone bad—was more than twelve months ago. No matter what her power was, she had never been big on sex—just the idea of it usually repulsed her. The only time she had seen herself become remotely aroused was with Silas—and perhaps that one mistake with Cole. Other than that, she had always stayed away from its allure.
Moving her feet off of the plain white bed, she allowed her toes to touch the ground, feeling the coolness of the marble press against her bare skin. Aurora had always had a slender figure—but being in here made her more thinner than she would like. Her skin was pale as ever—although she naturally had pale skin, but she had never been this pale. Hell, if she was any paler—they would mistake her for a bloody vampire. The lack of color on her face was rather distorting to her—if she raised her arms to eye level, she could even see the bluish green veins showing contrasting against her skin—it was sickly. Moving her head back in the direction of the agent she visibly grit her teeth as she watched him take off his jacket revealing a fitted shirt underneath. He seemed to be making himself more comfortable—and judging by the look in his face, there wasn’t one part of him that was intimidated by her.
The last ten agents that came in here, had all been wary and apprehensive—yet this mousy bastard had not a fear in the world. Her fists balling at her sides, she silently watched him—planning her movement of attack in her head—she was going to hurt this bastard good. Stepping closer to him—she kept her distance, waiting to see what he was going to do. Most of them tried to use a power against her—to which Aurora fought back as restlessly as she could. She wondered what this bastard had up his sleeve. Judging by that nasty little smirk that was embedded on his face—he had a plan of attack—because there was no way in hell a person could radiate that much confidence. Focusing on him, she watched as his mouth moved as he spoke—the words of nothingness trailing along her ears allowing nothing to sink in. He was just repeating what the last agents had said—and like before, Aurora had no fucking wish to join the company. No matter how hateful of a person she considered herself, she was well above—brining in and helping lock up people who have powers. That was not how she worked.
Stepping one step closer to him she waited until he finished talking—as her she focused more on his face than anything else. It had been a year since she had found herself being attracted to any kind of guy or girl—in fact most of the agents that came in here had been unattractive as far as she was concerned, but this man right here, possessed something else—there was something about him that was alluring her—but Aurora purposefully blocked that away from her head—maybe his power was similar to hers, maybe he too had the ability to seduce and manipulate people, that being the reason that they sent him. Her teeth grinding harder at the thought—a wave of rage flew through her as she watched him—her anger rising as she felt the smirk radiate from him—the seducing smell of the coffee trailed lazily near her—and Aurora remembered the times when she loved and craved coffee—yet this bastard was sipping it so effortlessly.
A snarl making it’s way out of her lips, she closed the distance between the man and herself and with one swipe of her hand, she knocked the coffee mug on his oxford white shirt—smirking as the dark brown colour of the liquid spread along his shirt—staining it and ruining it completely. The smile of pure satisfaction crossed her face, and Aurora couldn’t help but let out a cackle of laughter. It had been a while since she had heard herself laugh—the sound was so strange to her—but it made her feel better—if that was even a feat here. The aftereffects of the smile still lingering on her face—she spoke, “I don’t tolerate drinking in my cell.” Her voice was as cool as it could be—the trace of the short lasting bout of humor gone from her eyes as she looked into his own, torturing this one would prove to be more interesting than the rest.
