Walking through the mean streets of Brooklyn once again, truthfully speaking—it felt so surreal, kind of like she was reliving a past that she had long since left behind. It was strange wasn’t it—how everything changes yet stays the same? It had been more than three years since she had smelled the clean air musky air of her home town—felt the familiar wind caressing her cheek, feeling the warmth surround her and fill her completely. Twenty three years of age—and yet, she felt like a little girl once again, now that she was back here. Finding an apartment had to have been the worse, Aurora had never thought that it would be hard to find an apartment in the outskirts of Brooklyn, but apparently, the once lively city had gotten lively once more. Running a hand through her shoulder length hair—she walked down a lonely road near Bay Ridge, her left hand stuffed in her pocket, while her other hand dragged slowly on a cigarette.
It was late—perhaps around three in the morning—and here was Aurora with not a fear in the world, walking through the streets which people are afraid to walk in at daytime. Perhaps it was a cry for attention or she had always been reckless, but whatever the case was—nothing could easily hurt her, she was not as fragile as most women stereotyped themselves as; she was the seductress—the manipulator—she toyed with everyone and slowly brought them on their knees, just begging for a bit of her affection. She couldn’t deny it—attention was something she loved. Aurora wanted to be worshiped in every way and--- everyone did, except one person—but soon enough he will too, and when he did—she would drop him like the little toy he was—and find another man to fuck with.
Aurora wasn’t up to anything this night—but something in her needed something—perhaps a quick shag if she could find a decent guy to pick up—or even a girl. She didn’t have much of a preference anymore—both genders were equally fucked up in their own right—and she just really wanted to fuck—which ever presented themselves first. Allowing the cool smoke of the cigarette to leave her lips, she walked, her hips swaying in her black skinny jeans—making her look enticing yet dangerous at the same time. A leather jacket was tossed over her white tank top that she had underneath and just for the hell of it, she kept it open. Aurora had took in this burst of energy every time someone desired her or wanted her—needless to say, it made her power of persuasion that much more effective. A slow smirk tantalizingly crossed themselves across her face as she threw away her cigarette, her eyes alighting as she focused on where she actually was.
It was odd, how your own two feet lead you to places which you never wanted to visit or see yourself visiting ever again. How many times had she been here, in her teenage years—the only time she had allowed herself to allow all the guards and blockage she had in her head—just to melt away into the true bliss of life. For one moment every single thing she was or had been—was gone. She was nothing more than Aurora Vincit, a normal girl—waiting to find herself in the world. She wasn’t exceedingly beautiful—nor did she have a power to seduce and manipulate others—she was just a normal being—waiting to find her calling in life, and right next to her—had been Silas. One person she hadn’t thought about in ages.
Coming back here—and looking around the old sea port with its rusty wooden built and it’s rather creepy exterior, Aurora walked forward into the board walk, her eyes staring hungrily at its crevices. So many memories lingered here—so many—she just didn’t have it in her to walk away from this place. Aurora could practically feel the soft black hair of Silas—touching her face, the sweet smelling skin- those wondrous soft lips of hers. Just coming back her, reminded her of so many things she had left behind—so much wonder and extravagance. Aurora wondered if she had loved Silas—if she had truly loved her—maybe she did—for the feelings that she had deep in her heart were still there. Just coming back here—reminded her of all the times they had spent with each other.
Sighing, she kicked a nearby rusty can—she wondered where all her old friends were, especially Silas—she wondered just where she was—or how she was doing. Did she even live there anymore? Aurora had half the mind to go looking for her—but what was the bloody point? Hadn’t she sworn that she would leave this horrible life alone? She would leave her past where it belonged, but it seemed as if—the past always haunted her. Maybe it was just her own impulsive way to remember it—or else, why would she move back to Brooklyn—out of all the places in the world, she had to move to Brooklyn. Aurora was still living in the past—as always, she just couldn’t let it go.

``SILAS SELINE RIDDLE
AND THAT'S JUST THE PRICE I PAYwhen i don't even know her nameSHE'S SLIPPING AWAYWalking slowly through the streets of Brooklyn Silas sighed, looking around at the building and car around her. Her blue jeans clung to her, hugging her hips and thighs, while her tight black tank top accentuated the curves that she had. She was remembering all the times she had spent there through the years, with many people, though one stood out in particular. Aurora Celestine Vincit, the girl she'd spent many teenage years with, and thinking about. Aurora was the one who would always stand out in her mind, no matter how many people she went through. Compared to her everyone else blended together, becoming blurred and swirled when she thought of the past. Now she was beating herself up when she realized where she was, the place where she and Aurora had frequented. Shaking her head slightly she looked around, sighing as she remembered.
Walking the streets of Brooklyn didn't scare Silas anymore, not since she'd walked them with Aurora. She smiled slightly, she missed her. She didn't know if she had loved her, but she thought from the feeling in her heart that she did. But that was neither here nor there, Silas didn't feel like she could love anymore. Walking toward one of the buildings she leaned against it, her eyes unfocused as she thought about the times she'd been pushed up against these very buildings.
Aurora and Silas had had one of the most fantastic flings ever, doing things anywhere they could, not caring where they were or who they were with. They were carefree and unaffected by the world, just wanting each other and to have fun. It had ended shortly after they realized that they weren't normal, Aurora with the power to manipulate emotions, seducing anyone she wished. Silas' power matched Aurora well, causing bliss and horror in anyone she wanted. They hadn't used their powers on each other though, it was an unspoken agreement that they had never talked about.
She wore a smile on her face, her mind racing, bringing up images of Rora, them kissing fiercely, pushing up against each other, and the walls around them. Shaking her head she quickly began walking again, hearing something like a can being kicked in the next street over. She didn't know anyone else who would be out this late, but she knew it couldn't be her, she'd moved away from here. Away from her, and even though it hurt to think that she would never see her again she knew that it was probably for the best anyway. Besides, love, if that was truly what it was, made you soft, and Silas couldn't afford that. Softness and love were weaknesses she couldn't afford to have.
She rounded the corner and she inhaled sharply as she saw the person standing there. A cigarette in one hand, the other in her pocket, black skinny jeans clinging in the right places. A black leather jacket was worn on top, shoulder length brunette hair curling slightly, looking amazing. Somehow she knew instinctively that it was her. She didn't know why she had come back, but her first reaction was to run up and hug her. The second reaction was to be extremely cautious of her being back once again.
Walking around the corner, she proceeded slowly and quietly, trying to see if it really was her, if her instincts were right about this. She watched where she walked, being careful not to make any noise in this quiet back part of Brooklyn. She was only a few yards away now and her breathing was shallow, feeling as if she was just seeing her, that she wasn't really there. "Hello Aurora," Silas spoke cautiously, fearing that it wasn't really her in front of her. Her breath hitched, waiting for her to turn around, to see her face once more, even if it wasn't real, even if it wasn't really her. Her black converse made no noise as she took one more step towards her, not knowing which would be better, it being her, or it not being her.

The smoke of the cigarette was floating through the air—darkening the already silent cold atmosphere even more. The haze of smoke was swirling around her frame and drifting sweetly into the night air—with the incredibly toxin that nicotine provided. Taking another drag, she looked up in the night air—gazing lustfully at the full moon—she had enjoyed nothing more than the twilight of the full moon—the vast quantity of large moonlight that filtered the stirred something in her—whether it was real or not she didn’t know. There was just this calling in the night air that suggesting something had changed drastically—if Aurora wanted—she could taste it in the air.
A sweet song of seduction played in her ear and she could feel something being attracted to her. Usually she had her guards up, because it seemed as if everyone was attracted to her—and most of the time Aurora didn’t use that much of her energy. Her eyes glowed slightly—almost in recognition—she recognized something vaguely similar in the air—a scent of sorts—that she knew she had smelled before. Every single one of her cells froze combining into a mass of nothingness, for just one moment she could feel the serenity of bliss surrounding her a bliss which she had always known, always craved, always needed.
It seemed as if her past was set upon haunting her—first she had stumbled upon this pier that she had sworn she would never allow herself to visit again, and now she was smelling and feeling a scent that was so divine—it drove her with an intense lust she hadn’t felt for years. Aurora could feel it filling up in the inside of her head and spreading through her body like wildfire. Everything was going wrong—and she knew if she turned around now—she would see one girl that she had given her heart to subconsciously—and the only one girl that got away. Perhaps it was Aurora who got away—for she was the one who was taken against her wish—taken from her family, her friends, her lovers—even Cole.
The trickery that lingered in the air was befuddling her and just for now, she wanted no part of it—Aurora wanted to run away. Run away again from her problems, just as she always had done—just what she had done to Sullivan. The moment she began to feel a stirring inside her heart for the womanizer—Aurora felt all the walls she had close back up—and in a matter of seconds—she had broken the heart of the man that she could have grown to love. One word that frightened her and exhilarated her at the same time—Love, Aurora knew she felt it before—yet, she didn’t want to feel that weak anymore—she didn’t want the pain of holding herself back—for the rest of her life she wanted to be free. She wanted to live her life as freely as she could—flowing with the wind and beating with her heart.
Ages had passed as she stood there all alone without a president thought in her head—the only thing she focused on was the scent of Silas—she could feel her radiance—feel the bliss that wafted freely from her—and from that bliss—Aurora released her lust. They had been like Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide; one took in what the other one released—it had been their way of showing each other what they meant—and the sex between them had always been earth shattering—the waves of energy that had released from both of them together—had been more than enough to send both girls at the tips of heaven and back. And now—this sex goddess was here again—and Aurora could feel her presence almost as if Silas was breathing in her ear.
Sweet and soft was her voice like always and Aurora could feel it ringing and echoing around her—in a swift motion she turned around—her eyes taking in the breath taking beauty that stood in the darkness—her jaw clenched but she didn’t move. A ripple of anger tore through her but she stopped it from reaching it’s full height. There was a lot she wanted to say to Silas—a lot she had to bloody well answer for—yet, no matter what Aurora threw at her face, in the end—it was never Silas’s fault—and what bothered Aurora the most was that she knew it full well. Tossing her cigarette aside with a flick of her finger—she felt the ashes sizzle in the ground—and a smirk tore through her lips as she felt the smell of the smoke and Silas surrounding her. “My my my--- if it isn’t Silas?” the taunt was out of her lips before she could stop it—it felt good to release some of that negative energy that she had pouring through her—“Still here—slumming the streets are you?” It was hurting her to say these negative things about her once best friend--- her ex-girlfriend… but Aurora was hurting now, and when she hurt—she made it her duty to hurt everyone around her. It was just her way of coping.
