Nicole grumbled, crossing the room to get to her closet. Today, as her friend Ben would say, was a ‘big, big day’. Instead of sitting in her home in her home town of Warwick, New York, she was being forced to get off of her silk pajama covered ass and get out of the house. It definitely wasn’t her idea. If it were up to Nicole, she would have stayed at home on her comfortable bed in a large t-shirt and pajama pants (or in this case, silk shorts), reading. Unfortunately, it was not up to her. Instead of doing what she wanted, she was going to Brooklyn, to visit her cousin. Brianna wasn’t exactly a pleasant hostess. She only cared for clothing and gossip, and never the well being of others. If anything, Brianna was the opposite of what a good hostess should have been.
And yet, Brianna Marie Paker still wondered why she lost her job. The mere thought of bringing up that morbid topic made Nicole laugh. As she put on a pair of jeans and a purple blouse, Nicole imagined what her cousin would look like when it was brought up. Ah, how sweet revenge tasted on a young girl’s tongue. A smirk on her face, she walked into her kitchen, looked at the fruit in the bowl on the counter, and shrugged. Nicole didn’t need food right now. Brianna would feed her, anyway. It was just the type of person her cousin was, ready to fatten everyone else up to make herself look skinnier. She made her way out of the door and to the bus stop that was within walking distance from her home. It came rumbling down the street about twenty minutes later. Nicole, earphones in her ears and music blasting, got on the bus and looked for a seat.

Agyness had just endured a long day. With running from the company and dodging bullets, she hadnt been able to get to walk around New York. But she was in the middle of nowhere. Warswick. She had a certain job to do and had been fufilled sucessfully. He got what he had coming to him. A smile spread across her face as she board the bus to Brooklyn.
She looked for a seat in the back and sat down waiting for the long ride to begin. As she reached the next stop she noticed that only girl came on from the stop. It was a bit awkward, but she ignored it and looked out the window. With no other seats on the bus, she was sure the girl would need some place to sit. As the girl made her way to her row she spoke.
"You can sit next to if you'd like." she said as she looked out the window once again.

Unfortunately, Warwick was a very small town, in which everybody knew everybody. People took public transit to get out of the insignificant place, even if Nicole still considered it one of the greatest beauties of all America. Most people by the time they were twenty one wished to leave their home town more than anything else. Nicole however wanted to stay there forever…or at least until she found a better place to be. The bus stop was always a place where the younger people would talk about current events, or local gossip, and old stuffy people would check their emails on their blackberries as they made their way into the city. Nicole used this time as a chance to listen to some of her favorite music. Yet somehow she could still hear the giggling of a girl who was on the phone with her boyfriend. What. A. Fool.
Only fools fell in love during these times, didn’t they? Nobody actually believed in love anymore, right? Nicole, didn’t, at least. She was forever the cynic; the girl with the heart made of stone. At least, she thought, she wouldn’t be the one crying on everybody’s shoulders when she got let down. She had been the shoulder to cry on long enough to know the dangers that came with ‘love’. Seeing the girl with short blonde hair move aside, Nicole flashed her a smile for a second. As she sat down, she looked to her iPod, seeing the screen fade to black. “Dead battery. Shit.” She muttered.

Beth looked out the window at the houses that aligned the street. She waited for the girl to sit next to her so the bus could start moving. The quicker it started the quicker she'd get away from the fools. She wasnt usually the type of person who was all nice and sweet. But today, the girl seemed to catch her at a good time. She had just taken care of her once friend and she was so happy. As the girl sat down, she made more room for the girl to feel a bit more compfortable.
As the girl sat down, she noticed the ipod that was in her hands. The guy she had just....taken care of had the exact same one. She looked the other way and looked in her purse for her phone. It wasn't that she needed to make a call. But it was so she looked like she had something important to do. Little did the girl know that she was going rule her world one day, and all of her friends and family. She didnt know of her abilites or the fact that she was villain. But she was mere passenger on the bus, she wouldnt find out about that anytime soon.
While putting her purse back on the floor, she turned to the girl and saw the anger on her face after her ipod had just died.''Oh how unfortunate." she said with a little tone in her voice."Im Agyness. Agyness Bontecou. Remember that name dear, you're going to need to in the future."

The houses of Warwick were old fashioned, and spread far apart. If one had to give them a name to describe their style, it would definitely be haunting Victorian. Most of the buildings looked as if they were falling apart. In truth, many of them were. But Nicole found them charming as ever. Then again, she had lived there for twenty-one years. It was hard for her to think of them any other way. Now the bus was headed down Main Street, which looked like heaven to Nicole. After all, it had brick buildings filled with stores for people of all kinds. Whether someone was an artsy person, or they wanted to buy fancy dresses, or even take martial arts, they could do it here. Unfortunately, though, it was a rather short street, and within the first two minutes, the bus was out of Warwick. There was no turning back now.
Her eyes drifted downward to her lap. The black box had an empty screen. Blue headphones that fell out of her ears tangled in between her legs. Great. Her iPod was dead, and she was in the middle of a group of people that she had absolutely no interest in conversing with. They all were a bunch of people that she already knew. Well, she knew as much as she wanted to, at the very least. That was, except for the girl next to her. But why would she want to talk to that girl? Sure, it was a two hour bus ride. But could Nicole last in two hours of complete silence without anything to do? She gave up after a simple minute.
Nicole turned to the girl next to her, who introduced herself. “Nicole Winchester.” She offered. It was only her name, but it was definitely all she felt like sharing with the girl next to her. Agyness seemed very arrogant, to say the least. “And why is that?” Nicole asked, a bit more interestedly than she really felt.
