{ roleplay sample }Sun beat on her face as it flooded the once dark room. The air still had a summer feel to it, though school had started and it was autumn. Sydney never cared what time of year it was, when the sun was up usually she was too. She was a morning person, something most people hated about her; well that and the fact she had so much energy to burn. The girl had to be the worlds human energy ball, and she loved it.
The fifteen year old danced about getting ready for the day ahead of her – most likely annoying people while doing so. She quickly changed out of her pink pajamas into denim shorts, a pale blue tank-top, followed by her Hufflepuff robes. Sydney got off quiet lucky, having only one class during the morning; leaving her afternoon free. The thoughts of practicing for the next quidditch match ran through her head. All in all it wasn't a bad idea, however, it'd most likely be a bit dull going alone. Syd could always find Amanda, but two clumsy teenagers out on the pitch would only end in more broken bones. Shivers ran down her spine at the thought. After breaking her arm last match, she'd rather avoid that at all costs.
As the already overly hyper teen bounced out of her dorm she tripped over her own two feet, falling face first on the floor and the contents of her messenger bag. With a roll of her brown eyes and a small sigh, Sydney collected her things again. Sydney Taelor Powers – overly hyper teenaged klutz, amazing combination no? Once she had her things back in order the Hufflepuff left the common room, off to whatever class had filled her morning. With any luck she'd make it there in one piece.
After what the teen considered forever she left the castles walls for the huge quidditch pitch, something she'd grown to tolerate; still attempting to get over her fear of heights. When the girl was little, she wouldn't even get on the top bunk of a bed, now, however, she was flying in the sky playing for the Hufflepuff team. Go figure, right? The moment her tennis shoes found the grass, Sydney's body let her to the pitch. The brunette's bag hitting her side as she made her way.
A smile played across Syd's face. She was always the happy kid, even with an over protecting brother and being the youngest. Both facts she'd learned to live with years ago, though Stephen could annoy her to no end at times. Within moments of leaving the cobble stone walls, the brown eyed, brunette girl had found her destination; the quidditch pitch. Most likely she'd spend the rest of her day in the air circling the arena or improving her aim. Entering the locker room, Sydney lefter her bag and grabbed her old broom from the closet. She wasn't the brightest bulb in the package, forgetting about the how the sun would blind her without goggles. Sydney gripped the wood tightly and wondered out to the grass. The brunette quickly mounted and kicked off hard, sending herself soaring in the skies above.
